Charles Spencer is a busy guy. Charles writes, plays, produces, engineers, and mixes innovative, cutting-edge house music, on his own and in collaboration with David Harness, Julius Papp, with Capitol A as Starship, Mauricio Aviles as Movido, with Marc Alan Gray as Spencer Gray, and with Nick Santillan as Behind The Groove, and many others.
Recently, Behind the Groove's "WHAT YOU GONNA DO?" was featured as the opening track on Tony Humpries new Southport Weekender mix on Susu. Previuosly he produced exclusive house mixes for R&B chanteuse Goapele's radio hit "Closer," released on Loveslap.
In his spare time he enjoys reading, and narcotics.
The end of 2006 sees Charles putting the finishing touches on the debut albums by Spencer Gray and Galaxy Group.
